Ryder’s Xchange Help Centre

To sign up: visit the Ryder's Xchange website, click Sign Up, enter your name, email, phone number and password, verify your email, upload ID verification, and accept the terms and conditions. Once approved, you can book vehicles or list your own.

Renters need: a valid driver's licence, photo ID, and a payment method.

Hosts need: government ID, bank account details, vehicle registration, proof of ownership, and insurance (if applicable).

Renters can search by location, price, vehicle type, and availability. Each listing includes photos, pricing, vehicle rules, pickup location, and host rating.

To book: search available vehicles, select booking dates, review vehicle details, submit a booking request, complete payment, and receive confirmation. Bookings become active once payment is processed.

Before starting your trip: inspect the vehicle, take photos of its condition, confirm fuel or battery level, and follow host instructions.

At the end of the booking: return the vehicle at the agreed location, return keys or lock the vehicle, take return photos, and confirm trip completion.

Hosts can earn income by listing scooters or motorcycles. Steps: create a Ryder's Xchange account, click Become a Host, add vehicle details, upload photos, and set pricing and availability.

Vehicle listings must include make and model, year, engine size, clear photos, and vehicle condition. Listings must be accurate to prevent disputes.

Hosts can choose a daily price, weekly price, or long-term discounts — the platform may recommend competitive pricing.

Hosts must keep vehicles roadworthy, provide accurate listings, honor confirmed bookings, and communicate with renters. Frequent host cancellations may be penalised to maintain reliability.

The booking flow: the renter searches for a vehicle, submits a booking, the host approves the booking, payment is processed, and the booking is confirmed.

Yes — hosts may reject bookings if the renter does not meet requirements, the vehicle is unavailable, or safety concerns exist.

All payments are processed through the Ryder's Xchange platform. Renters pay the rental price, a service fee, and a security deposit (if required). Payments are securely held until the booking begins.

Accepted payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, and digital payments. Payments outside the platform are not allowed.

Hosts receive payouts after the trip begins or ends, minus service fees. Funds are transferred to the host's bank account, typically within 1–5 business days.

Hosts can view earnings in their Host Dashboard, including upcoming bookings, completed rentals, pending payouts, and total earnings.

If a host cancels, the renter receives a full refund and the platform may assist in finding another vehicle. If the renter fails to collect the vehicle, the booking may be marked as a No-Show and a refund may not apply.

If a vehicle breaks down during a rental: move to a safe location, contact the host, contact Ryder's Xchange support, and follow roadside assistance instructions.

Support may arrange repair assistance, a replacement vehicle, or early trip termination.

Hosts can report damage, late return, misuse, or traffic fines through the Host Dashboard.

Renters can report unsafe vehicles, inaccurate listings, or host misconduct. Support may investigate and resolve disputes.

After each booking, renters review hosts and hosts review renters. Ratings help maintain a trustworthy community. See our Reviews page for what real renters and hosts are saying.

You may delete your account if you have no active bookings, all payouts are completed, and any disputes are resolved. To request deletion: log in, go to Account Settings, click Delete Account, and confirm the request. Data may be retained where required by law.

You can contact support through the Help Centre, email support, the contact form, or live chat. Support can assist with bookings, payments, disputes, and technical issues.

All users must communicate respectfully, follow road laws, maintain vehicles safely, and respect platform policies. Accounts may be suspended for fraud, abusive behaviour, or policy violations.

Ryder's Xchange operates under Australian Consumer Law, digital platform terms, and local vehicle regulations. Users agree to platform rules when creating an account.
